Sharon Lennon

Sharon is a New Jersey-bred New Yorker with a twisted love of the socially awkward and criminally bizarre.
She was a writer/executive story editor on Start Up (Netflix) and a script writer for One Life To Live (ABC - WGA Outstanding Writing nomination), writing over 70 episodes. She shadowed showrunner and Exec Producer Kevin Murphy on the SyFy show Defiance. Her screenplays and television scripts include Gifted (2020 Austin Film Fest Finalist) Suckers, Razzle, Fugazi Law, Push It, Eat Your Heart Out Goody Two Shoes (Finalist - Sundance Filmmaker’s Lab), Ant Farm City (Semi-finalist - Slamdance).
Sharon has done extensive research on tv series projects for showrunners and Exec Producers Tom Fontana and Sunil Nayar and has developed television series concepts for Nina Tassler/PatMa Productions and Omni Entertainment/Anonymous Content.
She is currently working with Don Cheadle and This Radicle Act Productions on an hour-long tv series concept, and was selected by The Women's List 2025 as Writers To Watch for her hour-long Razzle.
As a freelance writer for local and national publications, Sharon’s work has been published in The Hollywood Reporter, Ms. Magazine, MetroSource, The New York Times, Scholastic Inc., Seal Press, Heinemenn Books, and WWC (Women’s Media Center). As a writer/consultant on public education campaigns, she has worked for Women In Film, The Ms. Foundation For Women, YWCA and Girls Incorporated.
